Dust Collector Cages
Pulse-jet style baghouse dust collectors use fabric filter bags with internal support structures commonly referred to as cages. Cages provide a means of holding the filter bag open during collection and provide the required support for the fabric during operation and cleaning.
Materials:
At East Coast Filter, we make both top load and bottom load filter cages. Bottom caps are available as either welded caps or crimped caps.
Our superior cages are available in a variety of materials, and where moisture or chemical conditions create an environment that is corrosive to metal, cages can be produced from Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel with a variety of available coatings. Coatings such as epoxy are commonly used for corrosive environments. Special paints or electro-processed finishes such as Electro Galvanizing are also available to guard against corrosion.
With wire diameters ranging from 0.125 to 0.25 inches. 10, 12, 20, and 24 vertical wires are available, having the right size cage for your particular application is not a problem. Overall diameters range from 4 to 6.25 inches, and lengths from 18 inches to 24 feet. Ring spacing ranges from 3 to 8 inches. Variety and choices are a priority.
