Oil Absorbing Logs

East Coast Filter, Inc.'s Oil Only Absorbing Logs are designed to remove free and non-emulsified oils within an installed Bag Filter, helping to extend the life of the Bag Filter and improve overall filtration performance. By absorbing oils that contribute to premature filter loading, Oil Logs help maintain consistent flow and allow the Bag Filter to perform more effectively for a longer period of time. This can reduce the frequency of Bag Changeouts while helping minimize filter replacement costs, labor and process downtime. 

Each Oil Absorbing Log is constructed out of 100% Eco-friendly Polypropylene media for maximum oil absorbing capacity. The outer layer consists of a Spunbond Polypropylene media and is filled with over a half pound of shredded Polypropylene Microfibers. These Microfibers provide a high surface area for oil absorption and act like a magnet, attracting and retaining oil throughout the Log. Despite each Oil Log's ability to absorb up to five times its weight in oil, the Log retains its original dry-weight dimensions even at maximum capacity. 

By combining high oil-absorbing capacity with a compact, easy-to-use design, East Coast Filter, Inc.'s Oil Logs provide an effective way to help extend Bag Filter service life, reduce changeout frequency, and keep filtration processes operating efficiently.
