Our Bag Filter Housings are engineered to deliver reliable and efficient liquid filtration across a wide range of industrial applications. Designed for durability and versatility, they are available in multiple configurations including single, duplex, and multi-round vessels. These systems have the ability to support high flow rates, reduce maintenance downtime, and ensure optimal contaminant removal, making them ideal for chemical processing, water treatment, and petroleum-based operations.

Bulk Loading Vessel

Bulk Loading Filter Vessel

East Coast Filters Bulk Loading Filter is designed to filter liquid chemicals and petroleum based products that are transferred into bulk containers ensuring they are as clean as possible with flow rates up to 50 GPM.

Duplex Bag Filter

Duplex Filter Vessels

The D8 and Manifold Duplex Vessels consists of two or more filter vessels piped in series or parallel. East Coast Filter offers countless configurations and flow designs depending on the user's specific need

Bypass Filter Feeders

Bypass Filter Feeders, also known as Pot Filter Feeders, are designed to introduce chemicals in order to treat water in a Closed-Loop Water System. The water is continuously circulated in a secondary loop that runs parallel to the main line.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What types of Bag Filter Housings do you offer? +

East Coast Filter, Inc. offers a wide range of bag filter vessels, including single-round, multi-round, duplex, and manifolded configurations. Each vessel can be manufactured in a variety of materials such as aluminum, carbon steel, 304/316 stainless steel, polypropylene, PVDF, Hastelloy, and more to meet the specific requirements of your application.

2. Which Bag Filter Housing is right for my application? +

Selecting the correct bag filter housing depends on several key factors, including your required flow rate, operating pressure, chemical compatibility of the liquid being processed, and any physical space constraints within your system. For high-pressure applications or processes involving aggressive chemicals, an ASME-code vessel may be required to ensure proper safety, durability, and regulatory compliance.

Because each application is unique, we recommend speaking directly with one of our Application Engineers. Our team can review your process conditions and help determine the best vessel design, material, and configuration to ensure long-term performance and reliability.

3. What flow rates can your housings handle? +

Our bag filter housings support a very broad range of flow rates—from 1–2 GPM in small single-bag systems to over 5,000 GPM in large multi-bag or manifolded configurations. Actual flow capacity depends on several factors, including the viscosity of the liquid, micron rating, pump sizing, and overall system design.

Connection size also plays a significant role in both achievable flow rates and pressure drop. Larger inlet and outlet connections allow higher flow with less restriction, while smaller connections can limit flow and increase differential pressure.

Because every process is different, we recommend speaking with one of our Application Engineers to review your specific application requirements. We’ll help you determine the best vessel design, size, and configuration to meet your performance and flow needs.

4. What materials are available for your housings? +

Our bag filter vessels are available in a wide range of materials to meet different chemical, temperature, and process requirements. Options include Aluminum, Carbon Steel, 304 Stainless Steel, 316 Stainless Steel, Polypropylene, and PVDF. For highly corrosive or specialty applications, additional materials such as Hastelloy are also available.

5. Can Bag Filter Housings be customized? +

Absolutely. While we do offer some vessels off the shelf for immediate delivery, most of our housings are custom-built to meet each customer’s specific application and process requirements. We can customize virtually every aspect of a vessel, including the material of construction, connection size and orientation, O-ring and gasket materials, ASME Code or Non-Code fabrication, polished or sanitary finishes, special coatings or linings, as well as unique dimensions or configurations.

If you’re unsure whether a particular customization is possible, please contact one of our Application Engineers. We’re happy to review your requirements and explore the best solution for your process.

6. Are portable options available? +

Yes. Many of our bag filter vessels can be designed and mounted on a portable cart, providing flexible, on-the-go filtration for mobile or temporary setups. This is an excellent option when filtration needs to be shared between multiple locations or moved throughout the facility.

7. Can I get Replacement Parts for my Bag Filter Vessel? +

Of course! We offer replacement Baskets, O-Rings, Covers, Bolt Kits, Etc. for our Bag Filter Vessels. We will just need to know the model number and serial number of the housing that you currently have to quote you the replacement parts. A large variety of items are also in stock for immediate delivery.

If the vessel you are currently using was not supplied by East Coast Filter, Inc. there is a chance that we will need additional information on the components required and vessel in order to properly quote.
